A life-saving personal technology service, the range of equipment on offer means you have a personal care plan which is tailored to your needs. And with round the clock reassurance, you can live your life at home as usual, knowing help is at hand 24 hours a day should an accident happen.

Who is the service for?TEC quality

Using technology to allow you to live independently at home can be useful for anyone who is at risk of falling, injury, or needing medical assistance. By installing equipment in your home, you can put the support in place before further intervention is needed. We also offer out-of-the-home solutions for when you are out and about.

The support could be for:

  • An older person who is at risk of falling or injury
  • Disabled or differently abled people who could need immediate support if an accident were to happen
  • Someone with a medical conditions which could be life threatening if an accident were to happen

VAT Relief

You may be able to claim VAT relief on your Telecare equipment, subject to certain qualifying conditions.

You do not have to pay VAT on some goods and services if you are disabled and the goods are designed to help you with your daily living.
